TV Series....

I woke up this morning to Dave trying on a bunch of my pink sweaters. I guess it was "pink Day" at school, and he thought maybe one of mine wouldn't look too girly on him. I love that he tried them all on. I also love that he went with a pink scarf instead of one of my WAY too tight pink shirts.

After an incredibly busy and social weekend, this week has been a fairly typical and slow paced one. Playing with my little man, Yelling at the Coop Man, Cooking dinner for the big man, and relaxing in the evenings at the end of it all.

Dave and I have finished season 7 of the Show 24!!! We've absolutely loved the series, and can't wait till season 8 finishes, so we can watch it. My brother, Jesse, gave us Flight of the Conchords - Season 1 - for Christmas. So, this is our new "lighter" TV series for the next little bit. It is so ridiculously stupid it's funny.

I must say, I am a HUGE fan of watching TV series on DVD. Dave and I don't often have time or money to rent a full 2 hour movie through the week, and we don't have Cable. But, it's nice to sit down and watch some good TV at the end of a busy day. So, taking in an episode of something or other, has been something we've done since we started dating. I LOVE the way you really feel like you get to know the characters so well. I always hate that feeling when a good movie comes to an end, but a DVD Series is great cause they just keep going!!! Although.. I must say.... Dave and I felt pretty lost when we finished Friends Season 10. We were like..."our friends are gone." We had to go into the real world and make new ones I guess. Friends were the first series we completed since we started dating almost 5 years ago. We've also finished, Arrested Development, The Office, and One Tree Hill (okay that one was mostly me :) Although Dave would watch here and there. He liked the theme song) After flight of the conchords I think we want to do the LOST series. We've only seen a few episodes from the second season, and apparently this is the year it comes to a close.

It's been a long day, and my creative juices and extremities seem to be coming to a bit of a halt. Hopefully my next entry will be more inspired.... Valentines Day is coming up, and I have to run the play classes for 1-3 year olds this weekend at work.. so hopefully some good blog material will surface there. Thanks for reading!
